“Lunch for Dieters”

Most Americans regard meals as fattening, dieters tend to skip or skimp on lunch. As one overweight client confided, “I have a light lunch. I’m fat, so, I don’t give myself permission to eat because I should be dieting”. That sad statement is common in our society. Many people skip lunch thinking it will help their weight loss. We urge our clients to take better care of themselves and eat at least enough “diet foods” to keep their metabolism running and to fuel their muscles for their workouts.

Once our client started to have a turkey sandwich, some yogurt, and an orange for lunch, she discovered the benefits of eating this meal. She was more effective at work, less hungry in the afternoon, less likely to raid the refrigerator the minute she arrived home, and better able to lose weight.

EATING LUNCH WORKS!!!
