Banana bread is a bread that we all know, and love. Whenever I have an excessive amount of bananas that are soon to spoil, banana bread is an easy way to save the fruits while having a little something sweet to eat. Most recipes require ingredients that you probably already have in your cupboard.
Overall prep and cook time should take about 1 hour. All ingredients can easily be mixed into one bowl so, clean up should be fairly quick. As for the macros, adding the ingredients into MyFitnessPal will easily give you the answer based on the number of servings that you would want.
Without further adieu, below is the recipe and instructions to make. :)

- 3 bananas
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup lard (can use Crisco, margarine, or butter)
- 1/2 cup walnuts
Recipe
- Mash bananas in a bowl. Add sugar. Let the two ingredients stand for 15 minutes.
- While the batter is sitting, shift flour and add baking powder and salt in another bowl. Upon mixture, beat eggs into the bowl with flour/bp/and salt.
- Dissolve baking soda in a little water (1 tbsp) in a separate bowl then add to the flour mixture.
